It shouldn’t come as a surprise that redefining what people believe is possible for children with learning, social-emotional and executive function challenges, for a school and for K-12 education as a whole takes a village.
Usually an innovation this big would come out of a big research institution or government-funded grant; ours came out of the grit and determination of a mom and former corporate litigator who simply couldn’t rest once she learned about neuroscience suggesting that it should be possible to reduce or even remove the challenges holding her children back—if only there was a school that was reengineered from the ground up using that science.
Today, that Mom still volunteers her time, and others on our team have joined her in that too. Over the years we’ve heard from so many parents and professionals who share our passion to see this mission succeed. Now that we have the pieces in place to scale our cohort, we’re excited to expand our team to include volunteers who want to be part of our grassroots movement to apply modern neuroscience to get better outcomes for our kids, while lowering costs for our towns.
We are interested in hearing from experienced educators and licensed therapists who share our passion and would like to be considered for positions as we grow our team. Please contact us to find out more.
Thank you!

Student Teaching Positions
In the years since we founded Cajal Academy in 2019, our students have undergone transformational changes. Changes that might not seem possible to educators trained in the traditional ways of doing things—because with those protocols and approaches they’re not.
For the first time, Cajal Academy is beginning to accept applications for student teachers and apprentice clinicians who wish to learn this new way of doing things.
Internships
Interested in learning Cajal Academy’s business from the inside out while helping us to make a big impact on the future of education? Contact us to explore an internship in one of the following areas, or in another area where you’d like to see if you can get involved:
Neuroscience research internship
Research documentation internship (neuropsychology, occupational or physica therapy background preferred)
Curriculum development internship
Admissions & marketing internship
School administration internship
All positions should be assumed to be unpaid to start, however they may have the opportunity to segue into a full time role as our cohort and funding increase.
Thanks for your support!
