Cajal Academy is a small non-profit school at the heart of an organization with a big mission to empower kids by developing new educational approaches that align to current neuroscience. Founded in 2019, we have now developed a research-backed approach that is proving successful at reducing or even removing learning disabilities and in some cases social-emotional difficulties as well. The results can be transformational, sometimes in as little as one school year.
We developed these approaches through our work with the students within our school for kids who have very high analytical abilities paired with an area of learning, social-emotional or chronic medical needs. Ours is the only one in Connecticut that is tailored to the needs of this compelling group of kids.
