Middle school is a dynamic time for bright and gifted kids with complex profiles, as social demands become more complicated just as curriculum and executive function demands start to catch up with their intellectual gifts. Many kids find they are starting to run out of the runway they'd always relied upon to bootstrap using their high analytical abilities: an emotionally and academically stressful experience.
The result for far too many bright kids as they head through the middle school years is increasing perfectionism, social anxiety and for some, task avoidance or even school refusal.
Join our special Middle School Info Session to find out how we disentangle what’s happening for these compelling kids today, and empower them to get back on their own course by helping them understand their own profiles and then rewire how they perform those skills that drive those challenges—thus reducing or even removing those disabilities over time.
