More Ways to Learn More About Cajal

We continue to hear from families and professionals wanting to know more about our innovative program and the science behind it, so we are opening up additional ways and opportunities to do just that!

Check out the options below and on our events page, and then pick the one that's right for you!

  1. Want to know if your child might be a good fit for our cohort of kids? Jump right in by starting the application process!

The quickest way to get a realistic assessment from our team of whether we think your child will be a good fit for the program is to start with our online application! Our applications consists of questions designed by our clinicians to pick up markers for needs that are frequently under-, over- or mis-diagnosed in this population of kids, so the more you invest in completing this information, the better we can help you determine if our program will be a good fit for their needs. We also ask that you upload all evaluations and assessments that you have, so our clinicians have the data they need to contextualize this information. You are not required to give notice to your current school and no teacher recommendations or student essays are required. There is a $125 application fee to help partially defray the costs of our clinical review, however waivers are available in cases of financial hardship.

If we feel that Cajal may be a good fit for your child, they will be invited to spend a day at Cajal with a mix of interviews and a "shadow day" experience, giving them a chance to experience our very different approach to education for themselves.

2. Join us for an Information Session!

Come learn about Cajal's unique approach to education and the science behind it, take a tour of our facility and meet members of our team! We'll share how we integrate standards-based curriculum into exciting project-based learning units to challenge intellectually-gifted kids; how our exclusive therapeutic approaches go beyond accommodations to actually reduce the challenges holding bright and gifted kids back; and how we combine neuroscience and coaching to give kids agency over their needs. For families who end up joining our program, our Info Session will be a key part of the orientation process, so you'll be one step ahead!

Live too far away to attend in person? Ask us for a virtual link!

3.  Attend a Drop-In

Have a specific question or just want to get a quick tour and meet some of our team? Our new "Drop In" hours are a way to let your kids get a visual on the school, but won't provide a formal presentation on Cajal's program.
